About the Role

The post holder carries responsibility for the assessment and advising on management of patients presenting with mental

health difficulties on wards and within the Accident and Emergency department in West Essex. This is for all adults over

the age of 18years including those with dementia.

To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in close co-operation with hospital based and primary health care based

professionals. They will be responsible for the maintenance of standards of care within the Team and actively

participate in the training and education of staff from allied agencies.
