Mental Health Nurse - ADHD Pilot Project
About the Role
Key Responsibilities: Patient Care Support patients during medication initiation, titration and monitoring mental health
and wellbeing Identify and escalate clinical risk to appropriate clinical leads, in line with protocols and in line with
NICE guidelines Support patients with understanding their new diagnosis of ADHD, suggested treatment options, lifestyle
adjustments and self-management strategies Care Coordination Work closely with the ADHD service delivery manager and
care coordination team to support patient flow through the service and timely delivery of care Participate in MDT
discussions, case reviews and clinical governance meetings Signpost patients to and liaise with other local services,
