About the Role

The mental health service lead is responsible for the delivery of high quality mental health , psychological,

therapeutic and clinical substance misuse services at HMP Aylesbury.

The post holder will have overall responsibility for the line-management, clinical, operational and performance

functions of the Mental Health team within the prison. This will involve ensuring effective and efficient resource

utilisation, awareness of financial impact, the delivery of evidence-based patient care and a safe service. In

conjunction with the Consultant Psychiatrist and the Head of Healthcare, the post holder will provide clear, visible
