Mental Health Support Worker
About the Role
We are recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker to join a supportive school based in Choppington, Northumberland. In
this role, you will work closely with pupils who require emotional, behavioural, and mental health support, helping them
engage positively with school life. The role is Monday-Friday, 8:40am-3:40pm. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small
group mental health support to pupils Assist students in managing anxiety, behavioural challenges, and emotional
regulation Support the wider pastoral and SEND teams Develop trusting relationships with students to promote wellbeing
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with school staff Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive
