About the Role

We’re seeking experienced, NMC-registered midwives who are passionate about midwife-led, family-centred care to join our

friendly and dynamic Continuity Team at Chorley Birth Centre. As part of a trust offering four birth options, our newly

renovated, standalone birth centre supports around 190 births annually—most under our continuity of care pathway.

You’ll work autonomously, managing your own caseload to provide safe, evidence-based care throughout pregnancy, labour,

and the postnatal period. This includes risk assessments, referrals, and collaborative working with the wider

multidisciplinary team. You’ll lead birth centre shifts, support colleagues, and foster a well-led, enthusiastic
