Moving & Handling Advisor (Clinical)

About the Role

Lead the provision of high quality, evidence based moving and handling consultation for children and young people

attending The Childrens Trust School and rehabilitation services, in partnership with other members of the

multidisciplinary team and education services. Undertake specialist moving and handling risk assessments of children

with highly complex needs e.g., multiple co-morbidities, neurodisability and chronic conditions, through standardised

and non-standardised assessments and clinical observations. Monitor and review the moving and handling risk assessment

processes, documentation, and reporting system. Devise and support moving and handling plans that fit within the childs
