About the Role

Skills and Competencies Able to work on own initiative, prioritise own workload and manage time efficiently Provide

education and support to assist mothers with their chosen method of feeding. Provide education and support to families

in preparation for discharge, delivering parent craft sessions as required. Ensure specialized equipment is clean and

set up ready for use. Be competent in the use of all equipment used in the remit of your care. Following appropriate

training the post holder will be able to: Pass nasogastric tubes and give gastric tube feeds as required Undertake

routine blood spot screening & blood sampling Provide breast feeding advice. Support breast feeding assisting with
