About the Role

Whipps Cross neonatal unit is a small and busy local neonatal unit (level 2). We have 18 cots and serve a maternity unit

delivering 5,000 babies yearly.

We focus on family and ensuring that babies leave here with parents who are emotionally and physically ready. We are

highly motivated, and this translates into high breast-feeding rates among discharged babies, and excellent service user

satisfaction.

Our nursing team is a blend of experienced band 7’s, 6’s and nursery nurses, as well as less experienced band 5 nurses.
