The NCA are delighted to offer opportunities for Newly Qualified Midwives to join our friendly and supportive Maternity
Team. We offer an excellent preceptorship programme which encompasses the full sphere of midwifery practice; this will
enable you to continue to develop your skills and knowledge whilst gaining confidence.
This post is only for student midwives who anticipate gaining entry to the NMC register in/before January 2026.
The newly qualified midwife is responsible for the assessment, implementation and evaluation of clinical care for women,
birthing people and babies on the maternity unit. As a newly qualified midwife, you will work in conjunction with the
