About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
Trainee Nurse endoscopist is a developmental post, the post holder will be working towards becoming a qualified Nurse
Endoscopist after successful completion of all relevant training. (Post graduate Diploma / degree in gastroenterology,
registered with JETS and achieved Joint Advisory Group (JAG) accreditation for Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy and completed
Independent Non-medical Prescribing course V300). The trainee will fulfil the role under the supervision of a named
endoscopist who is trained and qualified as trainer. The supervisor may be a nurse endoscopist or a consultant
