About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide non-medical (independent) prescribing service for substance misusing clients; to be responsible for

substitute prescribing for complex clients, and to provide advice and guidance on prescribing issues to a team of

practitioners. To provide controlled drug and medical withdrawal from alcohol prescribing as an independent prescriber

and a supplementary prescriber (in accordance with agreed clinical management plans) to substance misusing clients,

within their sphere of competence. They will have access to clinical advice and supervision from Consultants within the
