About the Role

The Nuclear Medicine Imaging Assistant plays a key role in supporting the safe and effective delivery of Nuclear

Medicine and PET-CT services across the Trust’s sites. Working within a busy and highly specialised environment, the

post holder will contribute to the smooth running of clinical sessions, ensuring that patients receive high-quality,

compassionate care at every stage of their pathway. As part of a multidisciplinary team—including Nuclear Medicine

Technologists, Radiographers, Consultants, Nurses, Physicists, Radiation Protection Experts, and administrative

staff—the Imaging Assistant helps facilitate accurate diagnostic imaging by supporting both clinical and administrative
