About the Role

1. As an autonomous practitioner undertake independent consultations withpatients, including assessing, monitoring and

evaluating individual patientscontraceptive and sexual health needs including referral to other HealthProfessionals as

required2. Issue methods of contraception according to Patient Group Directions &clinical protocols.3. Provide STI

screening and treatment according to Patient Group Directions &clinical protocols. Encouraging partners attendance and

treatment whennecessary.4. Provide advice and cytology screening as appropriate, according to localpolicies.5. To take

responsibility of the smooth running of the day to day management ofthe AXESS service.
