About the Role

Job overview The role of the band 6 nurse in Colposcopy and Hysteroscopy is to provide clinically effective,

individualised/patient centered care to those who attend the unit and their families. You will be responsible for

ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards and is in accordance with evidence and national standards, working

with the multidisciplinary team to achieve this. You will hold accountability for ensure that your knowledge and skills

are updated in line with Trust policy. The band 6 nurse is required to show good leadership skills and participate

actively in service audit and development whilst supporting and teaching junior members of staff and students. The
