About the Role
KEY DUTIES To ensure that the care of patients with wounds in the acute setting is to a high standard and support the
Lead Nurse Specialist to ensure the clinical governance agenda includes evidence-based protocol development, audit, risk
management and professional development. To co-ordinate the care of patients, carers and their families with wounds
within the acute setting to provide a seamless service within the multi-professional team, including staff from other
statutory and voluntary agencies, both hospital and community based. CLINICAL & PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain
Professional Registration. Adhere to relevant Code of Practice of Professional body. Manage own workload and co-ordinate
