About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily care, learning, and development of young children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You'll assist with routines, lead play-based learning activities, and work closely with staff and families to support each child’s individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Support children’s development through play and learning activities
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities
  • Help with daily routines including feeding and changing
  • Maintain a clean and organized learning space
  • Observe and record children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children and parents
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
