About the Role
As a Nursery Chef at Reflections Nursery & Forest School, you will prepare nutritious meals for children and staff while promoting healthy eating habits. Your role includes maintaining a hygienic kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations, and creating exciting menus using seasonal produce.
Responsibilities
- Run the kitchen and prepare balanced meals.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic catering facility.
- Follow allergen procedures for at-risk children.
- Create varied menus using seasonal produce.
- Manage stock records and order supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Level 3 Food Hygiene training required.
- Experience in a nursery or school setting preferred.
- Knowledge of 'Safer Food Better Business' guidelines.
- Ability to cater for allergies and dietary needs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Compensation

Location & Schedule
40 hours per week, 8am - 6pm, with occasional weekend overtime.
