About the Role

Join Family First Nurseries as a Deputy Manager at The Hackney Day Nursery, where you will lead a nurturing environment for children and support a dedicated team. With a focus on outstanding early years practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and happiness of every child and staff member.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and staff
• Support outstanding EYFS practice across all rooms
• Manage medication and care plans diligently
• Inspire your team with creativity and positivity
• Maintain accurate records using the EyMan system
• Act as a role model and mentor for colleagues
• Drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections

Requirements

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification – essential
• Leadership experience in an early years setting – essential
• 1+ year in Early Years – essential
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding – essential
• Level 5 qualification in Childcare or Leadership – desirable
• Experience achieving Good or Outstanding in Ofsted – desirable

Location & Schedule

Located at Railway Arches 358-360, Westgate Street, London, E8 3RN. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
