Nursery Room Leader - Baby Room

About the Role

Our Room Leader looks after the educational and social development of babies and young children up to the age of five. Their primary duties include providing children with a safe environment to learn, helping them to develop basic social and behavioural skills and engaging them in age-appropriate play activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the team of childcare workers and educators.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to staff effectively.
• Mentor and train staff to maintain high care standards.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities.
• Create stimulating environments that encourage development.
• Ensure individual learning plans meet each child's needs.

Requirements

• Early Years qualification (Level 3 or higher) in childcare.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Good communication skills with children and adults.

Compensation

The salary for this position is £15.30 per hour, based on a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

Location & Schedule

This role is based in Taunton, Somerset, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
