Nursery Support Assistant

About the Role

As a Nursery Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with qualified practitioners to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5. You’ll support play-based learning, help plan engaging activities, and ensure every child feels valued and included.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Assist in planning engaging activities.
• Encourage children’s development through play.
• Ensure a warm and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the setting.

Requirements

• Passionate about early years education.
• Friendly, patient, and supportive approach.
• Reliable team player.
• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Compensation

Salary ranges from £100 to £150 per day, depending on the shift.

Location & Schedule

Position based in Warrington with flexible day-to-day and long-term contracts.
