Nursing Assistant Ward F6/F2N/ERAS bay Cardiac Surgery | Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
About the Role
Ward F6 is a 32 beds and F2N is 16 beds with an additional 4 beds in a high care bay as part of the ERAS-c phase 2
pathway. Both wards are Cardiac Surgery caring for patients undergoing both routine and complex cardiac and aortic
surgery. There is an exciting opportunity for the possibility to be part of the 4 bedded ERAS bay on F2N. This bay is
for fast track patients undergoing cardiac surgery as part of the ERAS-c pathway phase 2. Including patients with
arterial, central lines, noradrenaline, pacing wires and drains post 8 hours after surgery.
We’re looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistants with a passion to be a key part of the patient care
