About the Role
SCOPE AND RANGE Manage a defined group of patients under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse or registered
practitioner, using evidence based, patient centred principles to undertake a range of delegated tasks independently.
Works within the limits of own competence and Nursing Associate scope of practice. Is responsible and refers issues
beyond scope of practice to the relevant registered staff members. Identify personal development needs that ensure
consolidation of knowledge, skills, and competency to undertake the care and treatment of responsibilities assigned. To
delegate work to support worker staff as required. To supervise and line manage band 2/3 staff and undertake the ongoing
