About the Role

The Nursing Associate within the Gender Affirmation Service (GAS) plays a key role in delivering high‑quality,

compassionate, and patient‑centred care across both the masculinising and feminising pathways. Working under the

direction of Registered Nurses and within the NMC scope of practice, the post‑holder supports clinical assessments,

carries out delegated procedures, contributes to care planning, and ensures safe, effective coordination of patient

care. The role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to upholding Trust values while

enhancing the overall patient experience and supporting ongoing service development.
