About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work within the Discharge to Assess (D2A) Team at Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, providing clinical leadership and specialized care for patients with complex conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for diverse patient presentations.
• Develop and implement advanced treatment plans for complex conditions.
• Lead rehabilitation and discharge planning as the "lead therapist."
• Supervise and train junior staff and students.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for coordinated care.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience with complex neurological conditions.
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Location & Schedule

Based at Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, with travel required to care homes in East & North Hertfordshire.
