About the Role
Along with the oncology consultant clinical lead, the post holder will lead the Older Adults Cancer Service (OACS), in
partnership with multidisciplinary team (including physiotherapy, occupational therapist, dietician, speech and language
therapist, pharmacist, consultant specialising in the care of the older adult and a secretary) in developing,
implementing and evaluating a seamless specialist service ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. The
post holder will demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service, providing specialist advice,
education and support for health care professionals and patients. The post holder will actively undertake clinical
