About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Psychiatry of Old Age Liaison Service is situated in the Department of Liaison Psychiatry at the Royal Victoria
Hospital and is part of the Mental Health Services for Older People in The Belfast Trust. The service covers all acute
beds within the Belfast Trust, totalling over 2000 beds. The team form part of a planned and integrated whole system
approach to Older People’s care that is delivered in conjunction with Psychiatry of Old Age, Integrated Care teams,
Community Mental Health Team Older People (CMHTOP) and partnership arrangements with voluntary and community agencies.
