About the Role
The Oncology Nurse Specialist is part of the wider oncology team based in
Bulstrode Oncology Unit. The post holder will work alongside medical and nursing colleagues and as part of the team be
responsible for providing compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment for a cancer diagnosis. This will involve
administering systemic anti cancer therapy (SACT) assessing side effects and providing information and support to
patients and family. The postholder is expected to update and maintain their knowledge on new and emerging cancer
treatments.
