About the Role

Join Seafield Vets as an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon for large animals, providing essential emergency care to the rural farming community of Moray. Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with one week on and three weeks off, while focusing on farm and equine emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for farm and equine clients.
• Handle night-time emergencies independently.
• Build relationships with local farmers and practice teams.
• Attend emergencies from home or provided accommodation.
• Manage a varied caseload, especially during busy seasons.

Requirements

• Veterinary degree and relevant experience.
• Confidence in surgical obstetrics and emergency care.
• Ability to work independently during on-call shifts.
• Strong communication skills with clients and team.

• Salary up to £31,000 based on experience.
