About the Role

Supporting the team within the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department by: Performing Snellon Visual Acuity tests on

patients. Assessing patients notes and recognising how to prepare the patient for the clinicians. Instilling eye drops

as per PGD guidelines. Supporting laser clinics. Supporting Botox clinics. Supporting in minor ops clinics. Obtaining

OCT images from patients. Admitting patients and preparing them for cataract surgery. Receiving patients back from

cataract surgery. Provide advice to patients, informing them of aftercare following cataract surgery, and discharging

them home. Ordering and preparing notes for cataract surgery patients. To order and obtain results of investigations and
