Orthopaedic Pre-Assessment Nurse
About the Role
To work within Orthopedic Liaison team (STORM and Orthopedic Pre-assessment) in a variety of roles, such as Preoperative
assessment. To assess elective orthopedic surgery patients for fitness for surgery and refer to other agencies or
medical teams as appropriate. To carry out medical clerking of the pre-operative patients and to carry out nutritional
assessment. Work within a tea of staff responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating holistic, high
quality and individualized care which respects patient personal dignity and beliefs. Ensure all documentation is
complete and accurate and that information is stored and maintained appropriately. Maintain a safe working environment
