About the Role

An opportunity has arisen at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a newly qualified Orthoptist.

We are looking for a full time Band 5 Orthoptist (37.5hours/week), to work as part of our friendly team.

The successful candidate will gain experience in a wide range of orthoptic services, which will include working as a

member of a highly specialist team in paediatric ophthalmology, ocular motility and neuro-ophthalmology clinics.

The position is based at Arrowe Park Hospital with a possibility of single handed community clinics across the Wirral

Peninsula, as competency increases.
