About the Role
The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Fellow in Musculoskeletal Oncology for a 12-month fellowship starting August 2026. This role is ideal for experienced orthopaedic clinicians aiming to enhance their skills in MSK Oncology, preparing for a consultant position while contributing to patient care and surgical practice.
Responsibilities
- Support out-patient clinics and assist in theatre lists.
- Assess new patients under consultant supervision.
- Clerk admissions and supervise junior team members.
- Attend and supervise ward rounds with junior fellows.
- Participate in audit and research activities.
Requirements
- Current GMC registration with no practice restrictions.
- Member or Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
- Four years' postgraduate orthopaedic experience.
- Ability to perform minor orthopaedic surgery unsupervised.
