Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

The Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon will join a dedicated team at Wear Referrals, providing essential support for in-patients and local primary care practices. This role offers the opportunity to work in a 24/7 referral hospital, gaining experience with a diverse caseload while collaborating with a skilled nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Out of Hours cover for in-patients.
• Support local primary care practices.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and interns.
• Deliver clinical excellence in emergency situations.
• Participate in ongoing clinical research and learning.

Requirements

• Experience in primary care veterinary practice.
• Emergency and Critical Care certificate preferred.
• Strong clinical and social skills.
• Proactive and motivated approach to veterinary care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Compensation

Location & Schedule
