About the Role
JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Safeguarding Nurse / Practitioner role is a visible and knowledgeable resource and support to patient facing
staff across the Trust. They will work alongside trust staff developing safeguarding competence and confidence in
safeguarding with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
They will use their own robust knowledge to support staff through advice, guidance, supervision and training keeping the
six principles of safeguarding at the forefront of their interactions.
