About the Role

Join our Theatre department as a PACU Practitioner at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. You will provide high-quality care in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, supporting both emergency and elective surgeries. Responsibilities

• Deliver safe quality care during the perioperative phase.
• Support management and organization of care provision.
• Promote collaborative working within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Apply best evidence-based practice within your scope.
• Contribute to service improvements and uphold trust standards.

Requirements

• Active UK NMC registered Nurse or HCPC registered ODP.
• Advanced Diploma/Degree in Adult Health Nursing.
• Understanding of surgical procedures and PACU protocols.
• Competence in emergency resuscitation techniques.
• Ability to support team members in peri-operative care.
