Paediatric Dialysis Nurse Specialist
About the Role
As a dialysis nurse specialist you will be expected to work across the whole dialysis service providing a high standard
of care. Competencies will be achieved in peritoneal dialysis home haemodialysis and incentre haemodialysis. Day to day
work will vary according to the needs of the dialysis service, this requires flexibility and adaptability and excellent
communication skills. Responsibilities include: Delivering high standards of care for all dialysis patients Training
patients and their families in all modalities of dialysis Conducting home assessments and home visits including
supporting first dialysis sessions at home Reviewing data and optimising dialysis regimes Preparing for reviews and
