About the Role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Responsibilities Assess, plan and implement care for children on arrival to the

treatment area and prioritise need for clinical intervention after the appropriate training. To develop an area of

clinical interest to improve the care & services offered to children and their families. Maintain effective

communication with colleagues and patients and their families, assessing and supporting children and their families with

understanding of their illness, health promotion and prevention of future illness. To ensure the safe administration of

medicines in accordance with local policy and NMC guidelines, including Patient Group Directions. Provide support for
