Paediatric Nutrition & Dietetic Assistant

About the Role

To be responsible for undertaking basic clinical duties following agreed protocols such as anthropometry including

height, weight and calculating BMI, collecting basic feeding information, sharing and recording information

appropriately. To record patient anthropometric measurements and other relevant details using standard recording

procedure and adhering to department standards. To be responsible for liaising with GPs, health visitors, school nurses,

childrens community nurses and other professionals to collect relevant information as required. To communicate with

parents/carers and health professionals and disseminate dietetic information as required by paediatric dietitians.
