Paediatric Oncology/Haematology CNS

About the Role

To act as the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Bedford site, working in collaboration with the Luton and Dunstable

multidisciplinary team to support the provision of a Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Unit and ensure the highest

standards of care. To provide specialist nursing care that is consistent, equitable, and patient-centred. To influence

and implement new ways of working through network collaboration, the National Service Framework, NICE guidance, and

Improving Outcomes objectives. To coordinate the care of acutely unwell children and young people experiencing

oncological emergencies, or requiring agreed levels of supportive care in line with shared care unit arrangements. To
