About the Role

This is an essential role for Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, supporting Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Unit status

and the delivery of care for patients with haematological conditions. The post holder will provide specialist knowledge

and support to patients and families receiving care from the paediatric oncology and haematology services, ensuring that

the recommendations of the NICE guidanceImproving Outcomes in Children and Young People with Cancerare met across both

acute and community services. This role will work in close collaboration with the Luton and Dunstable multidisciplinary

team, with links to the Bedford Hospital site.
