About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
The post holder will be able to undertake a wide range of advanced clinical ophthalmology skills at level two in one or
more sub specialties in paediatric ophthalmology in line with the Common Clinical Competency Framework for Non-Medical
Ophthalmic Healthcare Professionals in Secondary Care. The post holder will provide an advanced level of paediatric
ophthalmology nursing care to patients. The post holder will provide child/family centred care, act as a role model, be
able to work autonomously and as part of a team. The post holder will play a lead role in all developments within the
