About the Role

We are looking for Band 5 Children's Registered Staff Nurses or Newly qualified Nurses to join our dedicated Paediatric

Team on the Children's Ward and Children’s Assessment Unit (CAU) at York Hospital.

The Children's Ward at York Hospital is a busy 20 bedded General Paediatric Ward, with a separate Children's Assessment

Unit, delivering care for children (0-18 years) with a variety of medical, Psychological and surgical conditions.

You will work autonomously as well as part of the team, and be responsible for your own patients, with support from the

nurse in charge, on a shift-by-shift basis, utilising and sharing your clinical expertise and acting as a positive role
