Paediatric Rheumatology Clinical Fellow
About the Role
The appointee will be expected to fulfil the following duties with the agreed Job Plan. PRINCIPLE ELEMENTS OF THE POST
Clinical The Clinical Fellow will have ongoing involvement throughout the appointment with the routine paediatric
rheumatology outpatient clinics held at LRI and outreach centres and with the paediatric rheumatology inpatient/
day-care service at LRI. In addition, the activities in the typical week will include, ward rounds, day-care reviews,
assessment of inpatient referrals, virtual homecare prescribing, virtual day-care prescribing, response to all clinical
queries, telephone consultations (outreach, primary care, other specialties) and joint injections. The successful
