Paediatric Sleep Technician

About the Role

The preparation of paperwork for sleep study patients each week. Setting up and supporting nursing staff with sleep

studies performed in other wards when required. Liaising with the clinician on duty to clerk patient, and arrange for

capillary blood sample to be performed, including entering blood results into sleep study equipment. Cleaning,

maintenance and stock monitoring of sleep study equipment. The cleaning of all equipment that been returned from home

loan so that it is fit to be loaned to further patients. Taking sleep and ventilation equipment to the Medical Equipment

Maintenance Department to ensure that it is serviced as required. Maintaining relevant paediatric databases as required.
