Paramedic / Advanced Practitioner

About the Role

PARAMEDIC To provide paramedic practitioner activities in a primary care setting to support the GPs, holding clinics and

visiting patients within their own homes or visiting local care homes; To treat both patients with acute and urgent

problems as well as review chronic diseases and ongoing health issues as part of both local and national primary care

performance targets such as Quality Outcome Framework (QoF); To actively pursue policies that will promote healthy

lifestyles for patients: promote health education and participate in relevant sessions within the practice; Ensure the

clinical records are up to date with accurate details recorded and amended, including appropriate use of SNOMED codes;
