Paramedic (ECP)

About the Role

The post holder is an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Specialist Paramedic who will provide care for patients from initial history taking to treatment and evaluation. They will demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care within their professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and plan treatment for patients.
• Implement and evaluate interventions for complex needs.
• Prescribe and review medication based on patient needs.
• Support health promotion and self-care strategies.
• Liaise with GPs for patient admissions to secondary care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Specialist Paramedic qualification.
• Experience in clinical assessment and decision-making.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage complex patient needs.
