Patient Environment Assistant

About the Role

A Patient Catering Assistant has a vitally important role within the hospital as it supports the nursing care of

patients by making sure that they receive the nutrition that will help them recover from their illness or surgery. The

Patient Catering Assistant role is to deliver the meal, snack service and drinks throughout the day and to be

responsible for all elements of food hygiene and safety in the ward kitchens. As a Patient Catering Assistant, you can

make a real difference to the patients experience in hospital by providing support and a friendly face to patients

during their stay.
