PCN Primary Care Support Worker (HCA)

About the Role

Our current highly skilled Primary Care Support workers undertake the following tasks: - Phlebotomy - Blood pressure

checks - ECG test (but not the reading and assessing of the results) - Vaccinations (flu, B12, Covid) ** - NHS Health

Checks - Physical checks for patients with serious mental illness (SMI) and learning disabilities (LD) - Dopplers -

Stocking measurements - Diabetic foot checks - Staple / sutures removal ** - FeNo (respiratory) testing ** - Woundcare

** - Smoking cessation (planned) ** - Long term condition reviews - Non clinical dementia reviews ** If you are not yet

proficient in these we may be able to offer training
