About the Role
Join UMass Memorial Health as a Patient Care Technician II in the Clinical Decision Unit. In this role, you will provide essential patient care under the guidance of licensed clinicians, ensuring comfort and safety for patients. Responsibilities
- Communicate patient observations to the RN promptly.
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Monitor high-risk patients as assigned.
- Perform vital signs and basic medical tests.
- Support the healthcare team during treatments and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Minimum 800 hours as a PCA I or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
