About the Role
To promote and develop the role of mental health liaison by providing clinical and professional leadership in
development and implementation of evidence-based practices to support people with a mental health need who are under the
care of the General Hospital. To facilitate high-quality person-centred specialist health care for people with mental
health needs within a hospital setting. To ensure seamless care provision between mainstream hospital wards and mental
health services including inpatient and community services. Providing nursing advice, education and direct support on
